2. Information Collected
You provide:
- Required: Email (for registration)
- Optional:

- Date of birth
- Gender (male/female/other)

- Biography
- Avatar
- Learning progress: Records of completed lessons, completed tasks, received certificates
Automatically collected:
- IP address
- Browser type and operating system
- Session cookies (2 weeks duration)
- CSRF tokens for security
- Platform usage statistics (internal analytics)
Important: We do NOT collect payment card data.
Social authentication (OAuth):
When logging in via Google or GitHub, we receive the following data:
- Google OAuth:
- Email Address
- First and last name (if provided)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Google user ID (for linking accounts)
- GitHub OAuth:
- Email Address
- GitHub username
- Avatar (if provided)
- GitHub user ID (for account linking)
Important: We do NOT get access to your repositories, private messages or other private data. Only basic public profile data is requested.
You can disconnect the social account at any time in profile settings.
3. Data Usage
We use information for:
- Registration and Authentication: Creating and managing your account, including login via Google/GitHub
- Service provision: Access to courses, lessons, assignments and certificates
- Learning personalization: Progress tracking, course recommendations
- Communication: Sending notifications about updates, new lessons, mentor responses
- Platform Improvement: Usage analysis to improve UX (internal analytics)
- Security: Fraud protection, preventing unauthorized access
- Legal obligations: Compliance with Georgian legislation requirements
4. Data Sharing with Third Parties
Minimization principle: We share data with third parties ONLY in cases necessary for the platform to operate.
OAuth providers (when used):
- Google: When logging in through Google, we exchange data with Google OAuth 2.0. Google receives information that you are using our platform.
- GitHub: When logging in through GitHub, we exchange data with GitHub OAuth 2.0. GitHub receives information that you are using our platform.
Technical providers:
- Server hosting (for data storage and platform operation)
- Email services (SMTP for sending notifications)
- Redis (for caching and performance improvement)
We do NOT share data:
- Advertising networks
- Analytics services (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, etc.)
- Data brokers
- For sale or commercial use
Government agencies: We may disclose data upon request of authorized Georgian authorities in cases provided by law (court orders, investigations).

In accordance with the Law of Georgia 'On Personal Data Protection', you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request data deletion (right to be forgotten)
- Restriction of processing: Restrict data use in certain cases
- Portability: Receive data in structured format
- Objection: Object to data processing for marketing purposes
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time
